Mar 08, 2018 · Lotus put out a wide selection of guitars. Their very best strat had a set neck and a sculpted body with no pickguard. It was around 700$ new. I have the Square Edge Super Strat. The name pretty much describes it. HSH, and absolutely giggable with an excellent sound. In fact, it was the back up strat for an artist that died.

However, I have a Lotus on my 1980s page that is fantastic! Next to that is an Inter-Mark frmo Japan. Well built guitar, MUCH better than most semi-hollows from this era.

Feb 17, 2014 · my mom grabbed me black w/white pick guard lotus from the auction for $35. i immediately tore it down to see what was in it. it had mini pots, cheap pickups and a swimming pool route. the frets are also in pretty bad shape. i’m hanging on to it for a project body though. it’s nice and "relic’d" aka beat to sh*t but no cracks. i was looking at a Guitar fetish single humbucker (EVH style)

There is some really nice stuff being made and sold for cheap now. It would have to be the absolute best Lotus I’d ever seen for me to even think about it for $100.

Jun 18, 2016 · The headstock on this Lotus looks slightly different than mine.. From what I recall, mine didn’t have the protrusion near the top of the headstock. The headstock on this somewhat looks like a G&L headstock, whereas mine was more Fender-style. I don’t think Lotus is around anymore, are they? I haven’t seen any Lotus guitars in stores in a long time.
